Preparing your home for a new cat can be done in lots of ways. Your pet should be made to feel at home, but you want to minimise any changes to how your house works. Making sure you have the correct items before you bring the cat into the household is a smart move. If you have children, especially younger ones you should teach them how their cat is to be treated. When the pet arrives in your household there won't be any unexpected events. This will be helpful in the bonding process between family pet and child.
